Oza dos Ríos is a constantly growing village. Here, you may find invaluable monuments and landscape, as well as great environmental richness; there are magical places, some of them provided with beauty beyond comparison, which are not always known by those who come to visit us.
Oza dos Ríos is placed on a 71,9 km² narrow strip of land, between the Mendo River and the Mandeo River. Northward, it borders on Betanzos and Coirós; eastward, it borders on Aranga; southward it borders on Curtis and Cesuras and westward it borders on Abegondo. It is divided into 12 parishes: Bandoxa, Cines, Cuiña, Mondoy, Oza, Parada, Porzomillos, Reboredo, Regueira, Rodeiro, Salto y Viventes. At the same time, these 12 parishes are subdivided into 103 "places".
According to the last Local Census (1996), the village has 3256 inhabitants, which is a very low population density as compared with the provincial or even autonomical average one.
